Script
Script DRAFT
Although out film doesn't have a lot of dialogue in it, a script is a great way of mapping out everything that happens in the scene. It included brief summaries of shots, transitions and movement which is really useful when it comes to the the production as everyone needs to be confident in what they are doing.
The dialogue portrays the theme of trust throughout the film due to the repetition of the word. This is an effective way to engrave the theme into the audience and allows them to recognise and relate to the theme very early on. The introduction of themes is very important as we only have a limited amount of time to portray them in a way in which the audience recognise them.
The dialogue is also quite short and abrupt. This is a great way to convey the rapid movement and pace of the film. It also brings more focus to what they are saying as the characters dialogue will stand alone. This is effective at the end of the film which features a twist to the story. The words 'I promise' stand alone in a sinister way after we find out that after all that happened, Anna still hasn't put her trust into the right person, consoling not in her best friend but in the evil spirit she has been trying to escape.
