Synopsis
Friends Anna and Rosie are getting ready to go to a friends party. Rosie tells Anna that she has some ecstasy pills and that it would be a good idea to take one before the party. At first Anna is reluctant to do so, unsure of their effects and their origin. Rosie finally persuades Anna to take one with her, however after 30 minutes has passed, Rosie appears to be feeling the effects of the drug whilst Anna is totally unaffected. Anna observes the pills and concludes that they're fakes and that Rosie has been cheated out of her money. Anna accuses Rosie of faking her 'trip' and to prove to Rosie that the pills are fake she takes 2 more. After a brief argument, the two friends decide to leave for the party. However, Anna soon starts to realise that strange things are beginning to happen and that the pills she convinced herself were fake, were legit. Unable to swallow her pride, she acts as if everything is fine and they leave for the party, unaware of whats to come on her powerful trip.
The end to the film is left as a slight cliff-hanger. The audience learns that the pills were legit after all as Anna begins experiencing the effects after she takes another 2 in attempt to prove herself right to Rosie. Due to the fact that Anna is too embarrassed to admit she was wrong, they still leave for the party, however it is clear that Anna is 'tripping out' big time. What happens to Anna at the party isn't apparent to the viewer, leaving it up to their own imaginations to come up with different ways the evening could pan out, either leading towards a comedic route or a horror route.
